The Lemon Hater Eats Lemons

Ning Xiaomeng is a lemon spirit who went to great lengths to escape from a painting.

The painting she tumbled out of, however, belonged to Bai Meixin, a top actress.

Bai Meixin is a first-rate actress in the Omegaverse, a top Alpha everyone lusts after.

Cool and aloof, she has never been linked to an Omega in a scandal.

Ning Xiaomeng decides to cling to Bai Meixin for support: "Actress Bai, I'm a harmless Beta. You don't have to worry about me getting ideas just because you're beautiful!"

After Bai Meixin takes her in, Ning Xiaomeng enters human society and fully embraces her lemon-spirit nature.

When she sees a couple being sweet together: I'm so jealous.

When she sees someone win the lottery: I'm so jealous.

When she sees Bai Meixin surrounded by her radiant aura: I'm so, so, so, so jealous!

Everyone lusts after the actress. How could I not be green with envy!

Ning Xiaomeng really was a Beta, and always had been.

But one night, the scent Bai Meixin had been longing for washed over her, making her shiver.

It was like the fresh aroma of a lemon just split open under the blazing sun, its peel and pulp squeezed together in an instant.

...Ning Xiaomeng had actually presented as an Omega!
