I Am Rich

Guan Zhiyi, a third-tier actress who can't seem to make it big no matter what she does, finally listens to her family and obediently goes on a blind date.

Her small group of fans are heartbroken when they hear the news.

“My idol's so pitiful. She can't earn enough money, so she has to go on blind dates.”

“Let's crowdfund her comeback! Sweetie! Mom will support you!”

Later, to dispel the ridiculous rumors online, Guan Zhiyi starts a livestream to meet her fans.

“I'm not poor. I live very well every day, so don't worry...”

Her fans wail and weep: Our girl is so considerate! She's in such a terrible situation, yet she still won't spread any negativity!

Guan Zhiyi: “...”

Her poor-girl image remains popular for a long time, until one day

A reporter catches Guan Zhiyi leaving a night shoot and driving off in a limited-edition supercar, one of only a handful in the world. She speeds all the way into the capital's most expensive villa district and pulls up at the home of financial tycoon Qi Chengyan.

Netizen: “What happened to that hardworking, poor-girl image?”

Netizen: “She can't act, so she goes after a rich family. Have you no shame?”

The internet is awash with insults. The next day, Guan Zhiyi quietly posts: “Um, I went to my older brother's house. Mr. Qi lives in the house next door...”

A few minutes later, Qi Chengyan replies: “So when will you be willing to come to my house?”

Netizens: “???”
