Give Me Back My Snail Maiden~

A young fisherman found a stranded, enormous black fish by the sea. The fish was badly injured, so he put it in a seawater-filled vat to recover.

After that, whenever the young fisherman came home, he would find delicious-smelling food waiting for him.

Could it be the snail maiden from the old tale?

The young fisherman was overjoyed. He had someone make a pretty dress to give to the kind, hardworking snail maiden.

Instead, a burly man climbed out of the vat, glanced at the dress, and looked utterly disgusted. "What on earth is that thing in your hands?"

The young fisherman burst into tears. "Waaah! Give me back my snail maiden!"
