Traffic Lights

I was diagnosed with terminal stomach cancer.

Then I had three dreams at a traffic light intersection.

In the first, a man across the street, holding a black umbrella, was hit and killed by a black car. I wanted to save him, but I was too late. He died right in front of me.

In the second, I ran as fast as I could, and the man holding the black umbrella and I were both hit and killed.

In the third, I dropped my umbrella and ran for my life, saving the man. His umbrella turned red, and his face was that of my boss, the person I had a crush on. He smiled at me and said, "Congratulations."

On my way to the company to resign, the same scene appeared. I saved the other person, who was a stranger. Then my boss walked out of a car holding a red umbrella, and we stood beneath it together.

Right after that, I experienced two worlds.

Then I realized that each world was connected to my own life experiences. In both worlds, I was forced to relive all kinds of memories from my past that I had desperately wanted to escape. But with a change in perspective, life suddenly seemed much clearer.
