[Western Crossover] If You Want Me Dead, Just Say So!

Samuel Dietmas and his father were herders in a new age. They tended marvelous creatures that lived among the clouds, relying on each other and using one another, like clownfish and coral. It was a pact made by their ancestors, one no generation could break. They traveled the world in a camper van. His father never told him anything, yet taught him everything.

He envied kids his age who could go to school, visit amusement parks, and have a permanent home and a mother. He didn't want to keep living such an unsettled life. After puberty, he began arguing with his father more and more often. After one fight that ended with dishes smashed and pots thrown, he ran away from home. He waited miserably in the cold for five hours, but his own father really didn't come looking for him. He had no choice but to slink back home. Who could have guessed that the place where the camper van had been parked was now empty?

Before he could recover from the shock of being abandoned by his father, a kind woman took him in, and he began another fantastical journey.

A crossover of Supernatural, Grimm, and horror movies, among others.

(The worlds of gods and other higher beings are separate from the world where the protagonist lives. There are multiple higher worlds, and the gods in them can freely descend to lower worlds, but it's difficult to return.)
