This Damn Fate

A timid, sweet, physics-challenged girl x a gentle, steadfast high-jumping ace

Senior year is the twelfth year Yan Zhizhi and Lu Yuanhe have been in the same class,

but in all those eleven years, they haven't said more than ten words to each other.

That is, until the seating was rearranged in senior year and Yan Zhizhi and Lu Yuanhe became deskmates.

On the first day of senior year, their classmates thought it was absurd. How had the two of them ended up together when seats were assigned by height?

After the college entrance exams, a classmate asked Yan Zhizhi, "You two still aren't together?"

-

At the graduation dinner, their classmates teased them, asking if they were together or not.

Yan Zhizhi desperately tried to explain, but Lu Yuanhe only smiled helplessly. "I'm still working on it."

- Sweet everyday moments, short story

- The story will continue into college (tentatively)
