No Longer Human: Osamu Dazai

No Longer Human, in the literal sense, means "having lost the qualifications to be called a human being." In other words, a monster in human skin that just won't die.

Dazai: enjoying a fifty-day trip to Egypt, unable to die and therefore forced to live with boundless energy, still young when the Gem People appeared, Osamu: ??? (laughs)

Dazai: wants to jump into the river every day, wants to die full of energy, slippery as an eel and never gets killed by his partner, Osamu: ????

Old Dazai and Young Dazai: To be honest, we're both completely bewildered. (Old Dazai: Not really.)
