Broken Bones

--It's not just his pinky that's missing. His soul is incomplete, too.

A lighthearted blurb.

In everyone's eyes, Yan Chongling is a taciturn, highly skilled martial artist and an outstanding genius in every way.

In Yan Jiangye's eyes, he's a brainless, blind old man who'd rather die than love anyone but him.

Seriously, what a pain!!!

This story is based on the author's previous novel, Teaching You to Be a New Person.

This story doesn't conflict with Teaching You to Be a New Person in its timeline or plot, so you can read them as two separate stories. Even if you haven't read the previous one, you're welcome to enjoy this.

CP dynamic: taciturn, devoted top x ruthless, sharp-tongued bottom

Warnings

1. Older top.

2. Short-to-medium length. Updates are at the author's own pace, so enter with care.

3. The story only has the main couple, with no misunderstandings, third parties, or melodrama.

4. The top pursues the bottom with everything he's got, even at the cost of his life. The top spoils the bottom. There may be sweet moments, but the angst is always there.

5. The top suffers, and the bottom will suffer to some extent as well. The bottom's suffering comes only from his background. This setup is just meant to make the bottom more cold and ruthless, so he won't fall for the top easily.
