[Swallowed Star] Swaying in the Wind

Lei Lin dreamed of a thousand lifetimes.

In the dream, he was still called Lei Lin, though more people knew him as Greenfire.

Mortal, Saint, god, Highgod, Overgod... He had risen all the way to the pinnacle of his world.

But then the Origin Realm attacked, throwing the world into chaos, and Greenfire ultimately fell in battle.

When he awoke, his past seemed like a dream, and the events within it were impossible to make sense of. Yet he had returned to nine years earlier.

His father was still alive, and so was his uncle. Everything he had lost during the battle against the Devouring Beast could still be saved.

It was all starting over.

* The protagonist is the pursuer, with Luo Feng as his CP. The secondary CP is Hong x Thunder God. There might be a hint of Giant Axe x Chaos later on. I'm a fan of all-Luo Feng, but Giant Axe and Chaos really do have that parental-love vibe.

* Lei Lin is a character from the original work, but I've completely rewritten him. Yeah, I had a lot of fun changing him.

* Greenfire is from another one of Cuttlefish's novels, Coiling Dragon. I think he's really compelling. They're both Cuttlefish's kids, so why not unify their worlds?

* As always, I'll write this one whenever I feel like it. I've been unable to write lately, so I'm starting a Cuttlefish fanfic for fun and to lift my spirits.

A faint green flame flickers in the wind, left adrift in the cosmos. Where does it belong?

Theme: Our homeland is what we must protect with everything we have.
