[Nirvana in Fire] The Red Flame's Wronged Soul

Eleven years ago, at the Battle of Meiling, seventy thousand innocent soldiers of the Chiyan Army were unjustly killed, while their murderer rose to high office and enjoyed all the riches of the world.

Their boundless resentment lingered at Meiling for eleven years. Unable to be reincarnated, the seventy thousand wronged souls ultimately endured a heavenly tribulation and became a ghost king.

He is Chi Yuan, formed from the souls of the seventy thousand wronged Chiyan soldiers.

He carries their love and hatred, and bears the vengeance and obsessions of all seventy thousand spirits.

No one can escape a vengeful ghost's revenge. Sooner or later, everyone will pay.

PS: The CP is undecided. This is written for the wronged souls of the Chiyan Army. I just feel that even though Lin Shu avenged them, they could never see it. How can their spirits ever rest? Revenge must be taken with one's own hands. Not even Lin Shu can stand in for all seventy thousand souls of the Chiyan Army.

Of course, if there really is a CP, it'll be either [redacted] or He Niao Zhu →_→ I have a profound love for Big Brother Yue Ban.

The protagonist is a vengeful ghost, so don't expect him to be kind or anything. The Chiyan Army's spirits may have been good people, but a vengeful ghost doesn't exactly have a moral compass.

This isn't just about revenge, but also letting go of obsessions. Otherwise, why would there be an extra year? It's time for Chi Yuan to settle his own obsessions _(:_"∠)_ Unfortunately, Mei Changsu is Lin Xie's obsession.

That's all. This terrible author loves Nirvana in Fire. The story combines the TV drama and the novel. Princess Nihuang is firmly paired with Nie Duo. No Su-Huang pairing, so if that's not your thing, please move along, mwah! [By the way, Lang Ya Bang is adorable. Should I write a Lin Jing pairing?]
