[Supernatural] Paying the Mortgage on a Haunted House

[Abandon All Hope, It's a Silly Demon-Hunting Story] After inheriting her ancestral home, Anyang earned the title of “the poorest Celestial Master in the whole city.” The reason? Her family motto said: “Thirty years of mortgage payments, 28,000 a month!” Even more absurdly, not one of the old house's tenants was alive: There was the qipao-clad lady who embroidered wedding clothes at midnight, and the chef uncle who hacked bones to pieces in the kitchen. And then there was the long-term resident in the attic, whose looks were out of this world and whose tongue was vicious. He claimed to be the house's “landlord,” and his usual way of showing affection was to sneer at Anyang: “Even a dog would think your talismans are ugly.” Anyang swallowed her anger, all for the sake of making her mortgage payments on time. Then the foremost master of the occult world showed up at her door, accused her of sheltering evil spirits, and vowed to uphold justice on Heaven's behalf. As Anyang ran for her life around the courtyard, the “landlord” finally leaned lazily against the doorframe and lifted his eyes. “You don't hit a dog without looking at its owner first.” The next second, countless evil spirits bowed behind him in submission. Anyang suddenly remembered the warning written in blood on the first page of the family tree: “This house is suppressing a fallen god. Remember, never owe him a debt.” Now the creditor was approaching step by step, the corners of his lips lifting in a dangerous smile. “I can wipe out your mortgage.” “But you'll have to pay me the century of unpaid property fees... with yourself.” [Down-and-out Celestial Master shou x old-sleazebag fallen god gong] Theme: People should strive to improve themselves and keep learning.
