Under Her Skirt

Rain poured down as warm incense scented the air in Jin'an Hall. Gao Yuan had just enjoyed the attentions of a young attendant from her household. Wearing a nightgown embroidered with clouds and cranes, she casually took the chin of the guard before her, whose collar hung open and whose body still carried the faint smell of blood. Her gaze was distant as she said, "You've served me for some time now. I'll grant you a reward. Go claim your new rank and move to the Elegant Residence later." Ye Xu knelt before her, still damp from the rain. At last, his tightly pressed lips moved. "Your Highness once promised to grant me one request. Does that promise still stand?" Gao Yuan's long-nailed fingers traced the sharp lines of his face. "Of course. As long as it's not too much, I'll grant it." "I request to remain your guard forever!"
