Background text on England in the mid-18th century.
A ball was being held at Platon Hall.
Melodious songs echoed in the hall, gentlemen and ladies were dancing, and nearly a thousand candles were lit to illuminate the luxurious dome.
The Baroness was sitting by the window, concentrating on a book.
"My dear, hurry up and dance. How can there be no hostess at the dance?" The baron knocked on the door and said with a smile.
"It's almost there. Let me finish it." The Baroness said without raising her head. "My dear, I'll go down and do the opening dance after I finish reading it. This book is really interesting. It tells how clever knights design poison to kill their enemies and expose the conspiracy."
"Okay, okay, remember to hurry up." The baron indulged his wife, shook his head helplessly and went out to entertain the guests.
In the room, the Baroness raised her head and stared at the Baron's back, smiling slightly.
My dear husband... How can I kill you?
