[Bungo Stray Dogs] Nakahara Chuuya of the Detective Agency

Looking for follows for the spin-off [Bungo Stray Dogs: Love-Hate Relationship Mediator]

Next danmei story, Little Chaos: A haughty novice spirit medium hunts ghosts and demons, changing his fate along the way. Two award-winning actors go from mutual hatred to a desperate quest to win back their lover.

"Mr. Dazai, weren't you looking for someone to die with? Aren't you coming?"

"My intuition tells me my companion in death is here."

And so, all Dazai Osamu found was an amnesiac Nakahara Chuuya.

"We're not only great partners at the Armed Detective Agency, we're a couple, too." Dazai winked.

After a great deal of effort, Dazai finally managed to trick Chuuya into believing they were a couple. One day, at sunset, another Chuuya appeared before them on a Yokohama street.

"Two Chuuya's, twice the fun," Dazai said as he watched.

1. One-on-one romance.

2. A short story.

3. Updates whenever I feel like it (you'll have to pester me).

4. [Important] When I wrote this, relations between China and Japan weren't so tense, so I included Lu Xun, whom Dazai Osamu admired in real life. China was in the Republican era at the time, so if you think carefully, it's easy to tell which real-world sides the two factions in the story correspond to: the Nationalists and the Communists. The short story incorporates some historical attitudes, so please don't read it through the lens of today's situation.

As for everyone saying the characters are out of character, all I can say is that I've watched Bungo Stray Dogs three times and read the original once. My understanding of Dazai's personality also comes from reading Dazai Osamu's own writing. Dazai does flirt with women in Bungo Stray Dogs, but that doesn't change the fact that he cares about his juniors and Yokohama. There are a thousand Hamlets in a thousand people's eyes. If you don't agree with my interpretation, that's okay. There are plenty of Bungo Stray Dogs fanfics out there. Writing novels doesn't make money, and reading them is free. It's fine if you don't like it, but please don't insult me. I hate arguing, and I hope we can all be kind to each other.

Love-Hate Relationship Mediator

A space-time mediator transmigrates to Yokohama and quickly becomes the city's most famous mediator. His ability, naturally, is related to resolving disputes. One day, Mr. Mori asks him to mediate between Dazai Osamu and Nakahara Chuuya, and he goes through the most painful experience of his life.

After being tormented by Dazai until he can't take it anymore, his ability finally goes out of control.

And so Hakutaku and Hozuki, who are always locked in a love-hate relationship, along with Orihara Izaya and Heiwajima Shizuo, fall from the sky.

Watching it all, Dazai says cheerfully, "Well, that's twice the headache."

He glances at Nakahara Chuuya charging toward Dazai and twitches his lips. "Make that three times the headache."
