Qu Yun Chi

She has no father or mother, only a body full of martial arts skills. She saved a little girl who insists on following her, and a young palace master keeps talking about her every day. She only went down the mountain to have some fun and, along the way, see the man she once wanted to trade her life for. She never expected to stumble into a web of schemes. Together with Feng Yuchen, whose family is well-off, and the Fourteenth Lord, she uncovers a conspiracy in the martial world. Along the way, she learns that it is true she has no mother, but it turns out she does have a father: he's been looking after his junior martial brother. And she's a cult leader too, even if she's not on the side of righteousness!

Strong male and female leads, no misunderstandings, occasional irreverent banter, one-on-one romance, and a satisfying power fantasy.

Intended message: Smart people never drag things out, and there are no misunderstandings.
