[Naruto/Gaara] A Faint Glimmer

One day, an oasis will sway in the desert.

A faint glimmer.

Slowly dispelling the darkness of the years.

Gaara would always remember that day. Night had not yet fallen. The wind whipped up clouds of sand, and only the last sliver of light remained on the horizon. A girl in a tender green dress, warm and radiant, smiled gently and called to him, "You're here."

After that, the world sank into endless darkness.

Only a light had taken up residence in his heart.

A few little notes:

1. One-on-one romance, happy ending. A warm, healing story about two people coming to know and cherish each other.

2. The plot has been changed a little. I'll try to keep Gaara in character, though there will be some original details. Main pairing: Gaara and Aoba. Side pairings: Naruto and Hinata, and Kakashi and an original female character.

3. Irregular updates are the norm, but I won't abandon the story.

4. If you're interested, feel free to bookmark and comment.
