The irreverent version:

After playing a game called "Dreamscape," Wu Xiang and Yi Cheng realized they were having a really great time.

The very first tutorial mission wants you dead.

Try to figure out how to freeload off an NPC, and it still wants you dead.

Might as well give up and be a lazy fish, but the game still has hundreds of ways to kill you.

Confirmed: this is an extremely affection-starved, hellish game+.

Yi Cheng: "Dear teammate, cherish life and stay away from this brain-dead game. Why don't we find a place with good feng shui, open a little shop during the day and make some money, then go home at night, enjoy the moonlight and flowers, and have a drink together? How does that sound?"

Wu Xiang: "Thanks, Captain. I've decided to go back to the guild kitchen and keep washing dishes (slacking off)."

The serious version:

A fully immersive simulation game called "Dreamscape." The living clear the game; the dead perish.

Dreams upon dreams. Players struggle to make their way forward, with their lives hanging by a thread.

Wu Xiang: "Looks like my grand plan to slack off is going to be hard to pull off."

Clearing the game hand in hand with the person he loves should have been a happy experience. But as the game went on, Yi Cheng realized it wasn't as simple as it seemed. Someone appeared to be secretly orchestrating everything. Reality and illusion blurred together, and it was impossible to tell truth from lies.

When he finally uncovered the truth, he turned around and found Wu Xiang had vanished.

Yi Cheng: "Teammate, where did you go?"
