[Identity V] Parting Again, Reunited Once More [Soul of the Umbrella]

Wu Chang's Soul x You

[Temporary blurb]

The flames of a nightmare surge into the sky, devouring everything.

Rescued and brought to the manor, you meet Wu Chang's Soul, who comes from the same hometown as you, and become close friends.

But why is there a faint sorrow in their gaze as they look at you? Is it because of what you've let slip?

Why do the figures in your dreams overlap with them?

"Once, the impermanent spirits parted, but now, by good fortune, we meet again. Would you be willing to become the wife of both brothers? Heaven above, I would exchange my heart for yours, and then know how deeply we long for each other. I would climb mountains of knives and descend into seas of fire for you, without hesitation. In life and death, we have made our promise: to hold your hand and grow old together, our devotion unshaken."

"...I don't need you to climb mountains of knives or descend into seas of fire. I only wish that the three of us, no matter how time passes or how the world looks upon us, will remain true to one another, always. May we stay by each other's side, our devotion eternal, never parting in life or death."

"We will honor your wishes and swear never to betray your love."

[No unsolicited criticism, warning for out-of-character portrayals]

A medium-length story, 44,000 characters in total, complete in one go. It's really sweet.

The writing style goes wherever it wants. Please bear with me.

The place names are fictional, and the dynastic setting is unclear, so don't read too much into it.

Apart from settings needed for the plot, feel free to fill in the blanks, including the names.
