[Wuxia Crossover] Descending to Earth to Get Married

As a cultivation genius, Ziyang Zhenren ascended to immortality, only to be stopped at the gates. There was just one reason: "You're too lucky. You've never faced a single setback, so you don't qualify. Go back down and experience some hardships before trying again!"

All right, then. After cultivating for hundreds of years, he suddenly couldn't use his powers anymore. With no choice but to change his ways, Ziyang Zhenren left the heavens and set foot on the ground, ready to experience the trials and tribulations he'd never known.

But this promised journey to cultivate his heart, this tale of a hero starting over, took an unexpected turn when Ziyang met his destined partner. Together, they studied martial arts, supported one another, and walked the path to immortality side by side.

Wasn't he supposed to descend to the mortal realm to cultivate his heart? How did you turn it into a trip down to get married?

P.S. Why did I write this story so seriously? This makes no sense!

A note: The pairing is Sect Leader Ximen.

[Important note: The characters here may seem OOC to you, but I think this is how they should be. If you want to tell me that so-and-so isn't like this, um, honestly, I suggest being kind and clicking the little red X in the upper-right corner. See you around, fellow wanderer.]
