Reading Notes: Personal Taste, Usually Bottoms
Enter with caution if you're very particular about top and bottom roles! Note: Some popular stories I've read before have things I dislike. I included them because I like how the bottoms are written, but I'll make the things that might bother you clear. Use your own judgment.
ABO Fiction
Includes AB romances, double Alphas, traditional Alpha/Omega pairings, and other original settings, such as special dragon-tribe traits.
A Country Bumpkin's Personal Reading List
Mostly shou or female protagonists. I assume the gong and male lead are virgins, or that both leads are virgins; I'll mention it if not. Sweet, satisfying stories with both career pursuits and romance. I don't read special male-insect stories.
Short, Sweet Bedtime Reads
Strongly recommend reading these before bed (I unexpectedly found so many hidden gems, most of them free, sweet short reads). Update: a few of the longer ones do cost money, though.
Instinctive Bonds
A collection of ABO novels I’ve read, excluding female alphas and male omegas.
Quick Transmigration and Short Stories
Looking back on snippets that occasionally come to mind.
Monthly Subscription
For my own use, just organizing my reads. Most five-star books were read through a subscription or for free; the rest were purchased with Jinjiang Coins.
Reader's Block, Free Reads, Masterpieces, Hidden Gems, and Beautiful Writing
Romance, danmei, yuri, Detective Conan, the DC and Marvel universes... They're all free to read. A lot of these are books I read a long time ago, so I'll go back and review them later. Not being VIP-exclusive now doesn't mean they won't become VIP-exclusive in the future.
Some Saved Top-Tier Reads
I've reread all of these several times, and they left a deep impression on me.
Reading Log
Contains major spoilers. No yuri, and no tragic, tempestuous romances. I’m open to everything else. I can’t stand protagonists who are constantly put through the wringer. I have lots of dealbreakers and don’t mince words, so steer clear if that bothers you.
Just Read It. You'll See How Authoritative This List Is
Love in the First Dimension. Everything here is gay romance except for one no-CP story about a female bean.
Highly Recommended Modern and Fantasy Boys' Love!
Not suited to any particular taste. Includes stories focused on both bottoms and tops. Mostly sweet romances, though some are lesser-known, so scroll down a bit.
For Bottom-Role Fans
Occasionally a little dark and kinky
A Little Bit of Everything
A chaotic mess
Free Jinjiang Stories
Some free stories on Jinjiang. Thanks to the authors who write such great free stories. I've finished reading them, so I'm putting them here.
Three Letters, One Big Drama
ABO
[For Personal Use] Passing the Time
Personal Archive (Saving the Books I've Read)
A personal archive of stories I've bought in full, with both top and bottom protagonists. Mostly bottom POV, all kinds of content, leaning toward devoted tops or couples who dote on each other. Covers a pretty wide range of years.
Monthly Subscription Recommendations
I subscribed monthly for one novel, then went on a crazy hunt for good monthly-subscription stories
Read and Completed
For record-keeping only. Includes both danmei seme-protagonist and uke-protagonist stories, with no yuri or derivative works.
Echoes of Longing
Exactly what the name says.
A Few Sweet Treats
Boys’ love is taking over the world!! I’ll always love TTMMXQL!!
Readable
As the title says, readable.

Alas, it's a bit helpless. Xie Han has such a subconscious avoidance and inactive character, and always makes up for some bad consequences. It's obvious that he likes Xiaojun first, but it really feels like he is forcing Xiaojun to respond to him. Indeed, if I wasn't this avoidant type, I wouldn't have kept secretly in love for fifteen years without confessing my love.
I wanted to cry when I watched it, and I cried for their beautiful love while watching it. It's really unfair, because there are so many obstacles between two people just because of gender differentiation. Xiao Xie secretly fought and fought for 15 years. Fortunately, Xiao Jun just didn't recognize the fact that he loved Xiao Xie. The two finally connected with each other. They must be happy forever.
I really like reading about secret love coming true.
I bought a monthly membership to watch the extras. This is the best movie I have ever seen about the bamboo horse defeating the sky 🤩 [Orange Candy]
I am so satisfied... I love this short story so much!!! It's so satisfying to see the extra episode again after so many years [Spread flowers][Spread flowers]
[Orange Candy] I got it [Orange Candy] I got it [Orange Candy] I got it [Purple Sugar] kswl [Purple Sugar] kswl My favorite team, I have been watching it since free articles to monthly subscriptions, they must be happy
"That day, he saw Shen Wenjun casually smile at Xie Han. "Caught a big bug for the author~ Judging from the context, it must be Teng Rui.
"He smiled at Xie Han. "Catch a big bug for the author~ It should be Teng Rui
Is there a bit of a bug? As mentioned earlier, Xie was sleeping when delivering clothes, but here it turned into a meeting.
Cutting it so early is too awesome.
