Yao Duoduo stares, dazzled, and thinks wistfully that it would be wonderful if such a handsome man were her husband.

As she stands there stunned, the man looks down at her, his gaze distant, though his tone remains courteous. "Hello. I'm the partner matched to you by the Marriage Center!"

Yao Duoduo: "..." My dream came true too fast!

But the surprise doesn't last long before the man continues in an unhurried voice, "I never wanted this arranged marriage. I hope you'll ask for a divorce. If you're willing, I'll cover all the compensation myself!"

Her handsome new husband hasn't even had time to warm up to her, and now he wants a divorce. What should she do? Stay or leave?

Much later, the man leans close to her ear, restrained and full of yearning. His voice is low. "Duoduo, you are not allowed to divorce me. No amount of money will make me agree!"

Yao Duoduo shrinks her neck and sighs inwardly. Sigh, who wouldn't want a husband this handsome? But ever since she realized she'd transmigrated into a book, she knew this man wasn't straight. Sooner or later, her male best friend would turn him gay...
