[Main story complete. Bonus side stories can only be updated after the account settles.]
In the book Tears of the Merfolk, the legendary overlord of the ocean, the Merfolk King, is a sinister and twisted creature with ugly black scales covering his body, a grating voice, a taste for drinking human blood, and a black mask over his face. He is a black demon, a king of the underworld.
Especially later on, after most of the marine life has been wiped out, the Merfolk King uses all kinds of poisonous sea creatures to create toxic water and scatter it across every corner of the ocean. Eventually, the currents carry it into human society, bringing humanity and marine life to the brink of extinction. Just before he dies, the Merfolk King sheds the only tear of his life. This is the tear of the merfolk.
The Merfolk King never shows his face throughout the entire book, but his final act of choosing to die rather than let his enemies survive unscathed still leaves a profound impression on Qin Miao.
But the spark that starts it all is the bride sent by human society to marry into the merfolk royal family and cement the peace treaty. Terrified of the Merfolk King, the bride slits her wrists by the sea. Her blood flows into the blue waters, confirming the Merfolk King's sinister, murderous nature.
Human society no longer dares to trust the peace treaty. One insignificant person sets off a butterfly effect, leading to repeated clashes between humanity and the ocean and a never-ending war.
Now, Qin Miao transmigrates straight into the room of that bride. A nobody with no legal identity, she has no choice but to take the bride's place and marry in her stead.
On her first day as the Merfolk King's bride, Qin Miao is a bundle of nerves. On the second day, she's worried about her life... Many days later, the Merfolk King is still nowhere to be seen, and she secretly feels relieved and lets her guard down.
During this time, however, Qin Miao makes a merfolk friend. Her friend is thoughtful, gentle, beautiful, and clingy. She loves to press her blue-and-gold gradient tail lightly against Qin Miao's calves, and is always the first to give her anything nice she gets.
Then one day, Qin Miao sees her merfolk friend wearing a black mask and speaking coldly to his subordinates. That's when she finds out... he's her missing 'evil' husband, the Merfolk King.
Before his subordinates, the Merfolk King is cold and imposing.
The Merfolk King of legend is sinister and terrifying, and loves drinking human blood.
The Merfolk King before Qin Miao is sensitive and bashful, a gentle, affectionate husband. Every night, he gazes at her with his deep-blue eyes, full of tenderness and longing, and keeps winding his tail around her legs. He can't wait to give her every good thing he owns.
[Those rumors did me dirty!!]
[Coming soon: My Husband Is a Disabled Dragon]
[Devoted only to her, two hopeless romantics: a beautiful heroine with astonishingly thick skin vs. a bone dragon hero who puts his wife above all else]
Jiang Mianmian transmigrates to another world clutching a bone. A 'delicate and easily bullied' young woman who has just arrived with no money to her name, she can only fall back on her old craft and earn a living, settling into a quiet life of farming.
One day, she crosses a mountain and sees another village on the other side. Green locust trees grow all over it, lush and dense. Beneath them, a pale, frail, thin young man lounges against a tree.
He seems to have his eyes closed, resting. His long lashes droop, like a slender, soft willow branch swaying gently in her heart.
Jiang Mianmian sighs: I'm in love.
The young man wakes, and their eyes meet from afar. Jiang Mianmian gives him a shy little smile. Looking into his eyes, she feels heat rise in her chest: This must be the husband fate has destined for her.
If that's the case, then she'll just have to make a little effort to win him over.
Luoxia Village in the Yunxiao Mountains has long served as a trial site for the genius disciples of the various sects. All the disciples call it a hell-level secret realm.
There is a butcher with an unpredictable temper, an old lady who often smiles as she pulls a finger out of her pocket and eats it, and a beggar boy who chases after you on all fours, begging you to help him find his mother. Most importantly, the ultimate mission is to risk provoking the crippled bone dragon by finding both his dragon horns and returning them to him.
But no matter how thoroughly the secret realm is searched, only one of the bone dragon's horns can ever be found. No one ever finds the other, and every visitor has to leave dejectedly.
Even so, the mountains are full of rare treasures, and there are even rumors of dragon blood. Countless people are still drawn to the place.
But later, the bone dragon's ultimate mission changes into finding a flower.
The village, once lush with locust trees, becomes a sea of flowers, and visitors have to find the bone dragon's favorite flower among them.
Many people think the mission has become easier, but no one manages to complete it.
Because no one knows that the bone dragon's favorite flower is his wife. He knows better than anyone that no one else can ever pick the flower that belongs to him alone.
It is said that every part of a dragon is a treasure. As the last dragon in the world, his blood, horns, and flesh were all carved up and consumed. Even his soul was bound within a tiny space, unable to leave.
He thought he would be bound to this tiny village forever, until he met a young woman. She was fair and lovely, with smiling eyes, and she cherished the dragon bones in her arms. Tenderly, she offered him a flower.
Later, in her love, he grew flesh and blood once more. His withered 'bones' blossomed anew.
Theme: Treat nature with kindness. Let humanity and the ocean live together in harmony.
Oops, there are too few and it's not enough to see [Hold your chin]
Alas, why does the author always break his word? This has been the case recently. Has he reached a bottleneck?
Woohoo, the author is so lazy and bad, I still want to read it
Very good. There are only a few of Sharman's articles, and even less romantic ones. It's one less book to read~

Why hasn't it been updated for a long time? The author will be back soon 🤩
It's Saturday, can I finish writing the main text_(:зゝ∠)_
When will it be finished? One update is 5,000 words long. Can't we just end the battle in three or four chapters? I'm so tired of waiting_(:зゝ∠)_
With the author's driving skills, can he still be locked?
