Becoming the First Lady's Younger Sister

[My new novel, Maintaining the Supporting Female Character's Dignity, is now underway. Please add it to your reading list!] Weibo: @ShiXiHeYa. There's over a chapter's worth of bonus content. CTN released its annual list of "Women People Most Want to Become," and the seventeen-year-old Ji Mingxi was the clear number one. A hidden elite family, a genius student defying the heavens, a fairy among mortals, a talented all-rounder, and a mysterious fiance with a supposedly stunning face, promised to her since childhood. Lin Chuyao sat on the blue-brick step outside an old neighborhood grocery store, flipping through a magazine roundup that was already two months old. She paused when she saw, in the lower-right corner, a photo of a girl who looked a little like her. Before she could think much of it, a stretched Rolls-Royce Phantom crept through the bumpy old alley at a snail's pace and stopped beside the store. Then a beautiful, elegant girl, exactly like the one in the magazine, stepped out and slowly crouched in front of her. Gently, she said, "Yao Yao, your big sister is taking you home." The Ji family's youngest daughter, missing for many years, had finally been found. To keep outsiders from looking at her differently, they introduced her as someone who had been raised abroad from childhood. When the students in Class 7, Grade 11, at Norton Academy heard that Sister Xi's younger sister was coming back from overseas to join their class, they were very welcoming They had assumed that the sisters shared the same genes, so the younger one would be an equally brilliant top student. Who would have thought that, despite having the script of an overseas Chinese, the younger sister could barely get out a single English word in class with the foreign teacher, and even scored zero on the monthly English exam, ranking last in her grade overall. Everyone was utterly disillusioned. What amazed them even more was that their usually indifferent leader suddenly developed a desire to show off. She came first in the entire school on two monthly exams in a row, all so she could toss her report onto her sister's desk and flaunt it with her legs crossed. This is a story about #IWantMyLittleSisterToHaveEverythingIHave#. #IGotTheHeiressScriptButUnlockedTheFailingStudentRoute# The female lead and her older sister are fraternal twins who look somewhat alike.
