Seven Parts Adoration

Announcement: I'm very sorry. I got carried away and posted after writing just the opening. I haven't even sorted out the plot outline yet, so I'm putting updates on hold for now. I'm truly sorry. [Part One] When Xia Yi'an was little, she was a huge fan of Stephen Chow. In A Chinese Odyssey, Zixia has a famous line: "My ideal man is a great hero. One day, he will come to marry me riding on clouds of seven colors." She never expected that one day, her great hero really would arrive riding on neon lights of seven colors... Rong Yan happened to see someone in trouble and casually rescued a junior from his school, a girl he had barely known for eight hundred years. He never dreamed she would latch onto him afterward. [Part Two] Rong Yan: "Our company is hiring a finance manager. I'm afraid your qualifications don't measure up." Xia Yi'an blinked her big eyes twice, looking utterly incredulous. "Mr. Rong, given our relationship, can't we just go through the motions?" Rong Yan narrowed his long eyes. "Do we even have the slightest relationship?" Xia Yi'an looked shocked. "Mr. Rong, I never thought you were this kind of person. Are you trying to wriggle out of your promise?" Rong Yan turned and left. The HR director had just witnessed the juiciest gossip imaginable. Should they hire this woman or not?
