After I Transmigrated into a Book, I Abandoned the Man of My Dreams

[Based on Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream] [Lighthearted, bubbly, and sweet. No need to read the original to enjoy this!] In the original play, Helena is in love with her dream man, Demetrius. Demetrius loves Helena's friend, Hermia. Hermia and Lysander are deeply in love and elope into a mysterious forest. Helena and Demetrius follow them. A group of fairies live in the forest. They put a drop of magical potion into Demetrius's eyes. Its magic makes him fall madly in love with Helena. It is a dream from which he never wakes, and the story ends with a grand wedding for both couples. Laura has always felt sorry for Helena. Of the four of them, only Helena gets a false love for her happy ending. When Laura wakes up, she finds herself in Helena's body. She has just poured her heart out to Demetrius, only for him to cruelly reject her with a sneer. Laura: Screw you and your dream man. She turns and heads straight into the mysterious forest to find the legendary fairies. Whatever you do, don't put that potion in Demetrius's eyes. I don't want him to fall in love with me. I really, really beg you. ...Huh? Why is this fairy so handsome! A muscular, well-defined upper body, a devil-may-care smile, pointed ears that turn red when he's shy... Help! 1. This is the beloved idea from the author's childhood. I'll write it properly and won't abandon it. 2. This novel is written entirely in English. Proceed with caution. 3. This isn't transmigrating into a book, but into a play. The title just sounds better that way. [English Blurb] In the play, Helena loves Demetrius, while he pursues her friend Hermia. Hermia, however, falls in love with Lysander. They escape to the Forest, followed by Demetrius and Helena. A group of fairies live in the Forest. One of them squeezes a drop of magical juice into Demetrius's eyes, making him fall in love with Helena. Eventually, it becomes a dream from which he never wakes, and the story ends with a beautiful group wedding. While studying the play, Laura sympathizes with Helena. Despite the seemingly happy ending, she ends up with his shallow, false love. One morning, Laura wakes up as Helena, who has just confessed to Demetrius and received cruel insults in return. Laura: Nooooope, he's not the man of my dreams! She turns and walks into the Forest, looking for the fairy, hoping to beg him not to put the magical juice in Demetrius's eyes. ...Wait. Look at the fairy. WTH, why is he so cute!!!!!!
