Joy in the Imperial Capital

"There has never been a lack of fate between us." A collection of sweet little stories about talented scholars and beautiful women in ancient times. No sweetness, no charge! First couple: Gentle, devoted, and a little dim-witted general x generous, free-spirited, and cheerful princess (a match made in heaven) Second couple: Proper, serious Young Master Song x spoiled and willful Miss Yu (he'll come around) Third couple: Flirtatious, carefree top scholar x a courtesan who is cold on the outside and warm on the inside (love at first sight) Fourth couple: Spirited, sunny, confident Third Young Master Yu x gentle yet strong-willed Miss Fang, devoted to love (childhood sweethearts) Fifth couple: Career-focused Eldest Young Master Yu x gentle, talented Miss He (married first, love later) Sixth couple: The emperor x the empress (from merely going through the motions to being of one mind) A collection of old ideas I found while sorting through old drafts. These are writing exercises in romance. ···Updates when inspiration strikes. Definitely not abandoned··· [Official Couple Announcements from the Beloved Couples of the Anping Era] [Characters from different chapters make friendly cameos] Theme: Love stories
