[Western Crossover] The Outer God Halo Above My Head

Ilena initially wanted to find an ordinary job, but ended up teaching at a school for mutants. From then on, the peaceful life she wanted was well and truly out of reach.

Ilena: So this is what people mean by getting on the wrong ship. I guess this is it :)

Some mutants may look weak, pitiful, and helpless on the surface, barely getting by through listening to other people's thoughts. In reality, they're wearing secret identities and working their tails off for an Outer God. Could they be any more impressive?

Ilena: Bet you didn't see that coming.jpg

Ilena: I'm just an utterly ordinary employee of a certain Mr. Nyarlathotep, who wishes to remain anonymous. I'm actually quite harmless.

Superheroes: ...How is any of that ordinary?!

Question: What's it like to teach mutants while wearing a secret identity and working for Nyarlathotep?

Ilena: Thanks for asking. Teaching is really fun. I get to share all kinds of knowledge I learned at Miskatonic University, and wearing a secret identity is fun too. When I'm out and about, there's a whole crowd of cultists fighting over who gets to do things for me. It's seriously awesome. Of course, it would be even better if I didn't have to stop my identity from being exposed and scare people by putting on a show where I fight myself :)

Reader's guide:

1. This has Lovecraftian elements, but some of the rules have been changed, so there will often be things that "shouldn't be possible according to the setting."

2. The cover character design is by Sukko on Mihuashi.

3. Please don't scrape rankings or engage in personal attacks. The characters draw on multiple versions, so some may be out of character.
