Love Becomes an Addiction

Lin Zhiyao, a washed-up actress. No fame, no noteworthy work, and only the company's unwanted scraps to keep her face familiar in the industry. Shen Yanqing, a rising star in finance. She made a name for herself with a globally renowned merger and acquisition, then won a legion of admirers with her exceptionally striking looks. To outsiders, these two had nothing to do with each other. And yet, they appeared together. * Sunny Fields Ranch was supposed to be a makeshift production, just there to collect a stipend. No one expected a big shot to show up on the show. As soon as it aired, the comments exploded: "Is that really President Shen, the one who acts all pitiful and clingy?" "Is that decisive woman behind her the washed-up actress whose reputation and public image both went down the drain?" "President Shen, if someone's possessed you, blink twice!" * Lin Zhiyao had always thought Shen Yanqing came back to settle an old score from years ago. So she tried to avoid her. But Shen Yanqing kept coming closer. One couldn't bring herself to trust. The other couldn't let go. Later, the show became a huge hit. Someone asked Shen Yanqing why she'd invested in an unpopular variety show. Shen Yanqing looked at the person just beyond the camera and smiled. "Maybe I just can't let go." * They both thought the other was straight. One sincerely wished her well. The other was losing her mind. [I think they save each other.] Theme: Darkness is only temporary. The light is always waiting ahead.
