On a Mathematician's High School Life

Qin Zhu stayed up all night writing her thesis. When she woke in a daze, she found herself in a high school girls' dormitory.

A 28-year-old applied mathematician, raised in an ivory tower, calm, slow to react, and slyly mischievous, has suddenly become a rebellious, sensitive, underachieving teenage girl from a blended family.

She had always gone with the flow and skipped grades, entering the Chinese Academy of Sciences' gifted program at thirteen. She never had a rose-colored or orange-tinted youth, and a doctoral student interning at her workplace even said she looked like an elementary schooler.

Given another life, she wants to skip class, eat barbecue, and feel the breeze on the rooftop.

But the doctoral student who interned in her lab is now a high schooler in her own year.

The future handsome and dependable doctor: You look like an elementary schooler.

Yep, same old recipe, same familiar flavor.

Qin Zhu: He Songbai, do you have a wormhole in your brain?

He Songbai adjusts his glasses: Oh, when did you change your name to Qin Wormhole?

Reader's guide:

1. An unconventional romance between two academic prodigies.

2. No awful relatives, teachers, or classmates, and no absolute villains.

3. The female lead transmigrates into the male lead's high school timeline. The male lead is not reborn.

4. The author wanted to read a youthful school romance with rebirth, a comeback, side characters who don't self-destruct, and leads who don't drag their feet. There haven't been many good reads lately, so I decided to write one for my own enjoyment.

The author is having fun writing this, so I hope you enjoy reading it. Feel free to point out typos and bugs. If you leave, you don't have to tell me, thanks.
