The South Wind Knows My Heart [The Nineties]

Jiang Rui woke up after a nap and found herself back in the 1990s. She was an orphan, mute, and married to a disabled man with a bad leg.

Every day, the two of them had endless bowls of wild-vegetable porridge to eat.

Jiang Rui, who had been a food blogger in her previous life: How can I eat pig slop like this?

For the sake of good food, Jiang Rui rolled up her sleeves and picked up the spatula. Reborn, she would start with a proper meal.

Once she was full, Jiang Rui had time to deal with the man. Should she keep him or toss him?

Then one day, she went shopping and got tired. She made him sit on the hard stone slab by the road while she sat in his wheelchair. Remembering the drawers full of his military medals, she thought: He's handsome, capable, and can't run away. Maybe I'll keep him after all.

Wei Wei was wounded on the battlefield and could no longer walk properly.

Knowing he didn't have long to live, he married the little mute because he wanted to leave her his entire estate.

She had become mute after saving him when she was a child.

Every day, he hoped she'd recover her voice and become the way she was before he died. But he never expected...

The little mute would scold him and then run away.

The little mute would pin his hand down, kiss him, and then run away.
