Yu Ran's perspective:
Yu Ran had a secret he'd kept in his heart for five years.
He'd liked Mu Ran ever since they first met when he was thirteen. He'd fallen for him like a madman.
But it was the biggest secret of his life, and he didn't dare let anyone know.
Fate, however, loved to play tricks on him.
At eighteen, he set off alone to make his way in an unfamiliar city. His parents worried he'd be mistreated, so they asked an acquaintance to look after him. They never expected that person to be Mu Ran.
Five years later, they met again. Mu Ran stood inside the doorway, while Yu Ran stood outside. Nervously twisting his hands behind his back, he spoke with a slight tremble in his voice.
"Hello, big brother. I'm Yu Ran."
Mu Ran's perspective:
As the head of the country's largest entertainment company, Mu Ran had no shortage of all sorts of women and... men who wanted to get into his bed.
But he was famous in the industry for keeping himself pure, staying away from women and avoiding scandals.
Then, however, people began spotting a young man frequently coming and going from his home. A man and a man alone together in the middle of the night... It certainly gave people ideas.
Reporter: "Mr. Mu, there's been a rumor going around that you're keeping the rising young star Yu Ran, and that he owes all his success to you. What do you have to say about that?"
Mu Ran: "Let me clear one thing up. I'm not keeping him. We're in a legitimate relationship."
Reporter: "???? But we were told you stayed away from women!"
Mu Ran: "I do. I haven't been near any women. This is a man I'm with." (shrugs)
Mu Ran (gentle, devoted, assertive CEO who fiercely protects his boy) x Yu Ran (well-behaved, shy, adorable bottom who gets clingy and sweet when drunk) [Childhood Friends Reunited] [Mutual Pining]
There's a fairly large age gap: the top is 28, the bottom is 18. They only start dating after the younger one is an adult. A classic case of an older man dating a younger guy. Sweetness level: +++++++++
[Important notes]
- A sweet one-on-one romance with no major schemes, just a heartwarming story about two people quietly falling in love.
- All characters are fictional, and the plot is original. Nothing is based on real life. Any resemblance is purely coincidental.
Ongoing novel: The Top-Tier Star Joins the Fandom to Ship His Own Couple [Play-the-Pig-to-Eat-the-Tiger manager top x stunningly handsome, talkative, penny-pinching idol bottom]
Blurb 1.0: The popular boy group T.R.S went viral because of a video.
In the video, Mu Yuyang, the T.R.S leader and visual, known as "the ultimate weapon," leaned against a wall, gazing down with a faint smile at his manager, who was crouching to tie his shoelace.
The exceptionally handsome manager knelt on one knee, tilted his head up slightly, and met his gaze with a smile.
The scene was warm and beautiful.
The next day, the Yangqin ship took off.
Fans: "The stunning top-tier star x the refined, handsome manager. Get on board, you won't regret it!"
Later, fanfiction about the two also went viral. Mu Yuyang and his manager kept trending.
The manager protects Mu Yuyang as they leave a crowded airport.

Fans ask Mu Yuyang: "Oppa, are you and your manager for real?"
Mu Yuyang, wearing his cool, handsome-star face: "No!"
Then fans catch him secretly showering that fanfic with tips.
Fans: "Damn! You joined the fandom yourself, and you're still saying it's fake!"
Blurb 2.0: In the fanfiction, the manager is delicate and weak, the kind of person everyone wants to protect. He takes off his glasses, and anyone would fall for him. In real life, though, the manager takes off his glasses, and he doesn't care about anyone.
Fans: "Yuyang, go for it! Take down the manager!"
The manager takes off his glasses, revealing sharp, phoenix-shaped eyes. He gives a teasing smile. "Want to?"
Mu Yuyang, supporting his wobbly waist: "I wouldn't dare, I wouldn't dare."
Fans wave their banner high: "Yangqin forever!"
Mu Yuyang: "Sorry, I'm on the Qingyang ship..."
Blurb 3.0: About T.R.S
In the eyes of their fans, T.R.S is a group with both talent and looks, a lineup of stunning beauties.
Together, they're a blazing fire; apart, they're stars across the sky. They set out at dawn, and no one can compete.
But in the members' eyes, T.R.S is a group of lunatics where everyone tries to act normal, but nobody is. A stunningly handsome, talkative, stingy leader; a mixed-race "soft girl" wrapped in the skin of a cool beauty; a devoted poet pretending to be aloof; a cute-looking youngest member who's actually the group's tyrant; a straight rapper who loves writing fanfiction about his bandmates; and a "scheming" manager who plays the pig to eat the tiger.
T.R.S: We take the path of absurdity so no absurdity can follow.

Theme:
Doesn't it matter that Yu Ran was sexually harassed? A girl would never understand this. Is it possible to forgive someone who has been harassed once or twice and then not be harassed again? How many people must have been harassed or even raped? This is not a personality problem, it is simply not caring about yourself and not loving yourself. Other than this, Yu Ran is pretty good.
Yu Ran is really... Speechless
Yu Ran... Well, why don't you say anything when something happens? I was taken advantage of, and I didn't say anything yet...
It's hard to describe Yu Ran's thoughts. When God opens a window for people, he must close a door. This sentence is true.
Yu Ran always doesn't want to cause trouble. In real life, it would definitely be this kind of person who gets into trouble.
"The drowning happened when he was in the third grade of elementary school..." This is a big bug for the author~

... I feel like the writing here is embarrassing (scratching my head)
So I didn't tell anyone about Chen Ke either…
I kind of feel like the character I'm receiving is broken?
