I Faked My Death, and Now I've Been Found Out

An extremely OOC Onmyoji fic, but the dark, underworld-flavored male ghost top really hits my preferences.

[Important personal setting: Minamoto no Raikou = Orochi]

A thousand years ago, the world was plagued by the Night Parade of One Hundred Demons, with gods and demons everywhere, and ordinary people suffered terribly.

The legendary great Onmyoji, Abe no Seimei, son of the white fox, saw what was happening and willingly sacrificed himself to the demons, choosing martyrdom. Orochi took the form of Minamoto no Raikou, and he and the son of the white fox spent a long time loving and fighting each other.

For a time, heaven and earth lost their color, and the sun and moon went dark. The many demons under their command scattered and fell into slumber.

In the end, the two perished together at Nijo Castle.

Minamoto no Raikou thought he could finally spend eternity entangled in sleep with the only person he had ever cared about. Then, one day, he suddenly felt the fox in his arms was gone.

He opened his eyes and discovered that the little fox he had been holding had disappeared?!

An ancient god and demon rose from the dead, consumed by darkness and filled with fury: "Abe... no... Seimei!"

Abe no Seimei, who had faked his death and slipped away to enjoy a thousand years of freedom, jolted: Who's talking about me now?

Minamoto no Raikou x Abe no Seimei
