My First DM Fan Fiction (Enter at Your Own Risk)

An afterword, written long afterward This short story is a rare thing for me, and the only Uncanny fanfic I ever managed to bring to completion. The inspiration came from a softly drawn illustration in The Legend of Suzaku’s Sorrow. Then one night I dreamed about it. I woke up and silently cried. I don’t have very tearful eyes. Whenever the children I love leave forever and fly up into the clouds, I can never quite cry. I just choke up, and it feels worse than crying. So this short story was written a long time ago, in vertical lines. Back then, I was wildly obsessed with FY, and just as wildly prone to abandoning stories mid-plot. That’s why I call it a “rare short story.” Hehe. It was a very complicated encounter. For now, all I can say is that Liu is still the boy who breaks my heart. Hehe, that makes me sound so world-weary. Whenever I think of Uncanny, my heart always grows calm, completely unlike the excitement Naruto stirs in me now. I haven’t revisited Uncanny in a long time. That manga that once made my heart ache has been gathering dust for ages. But I’ll always love them. I dedicate this story to the two who have gone to heaven. May you be happy. Theme:
