On the land of Jiuzhou, the age-old feud between the Human and Feather clans had lasted for millennia. Their history, washed in blood and fire, was scarred with hatred.
Thirty-two years ago, the Feather clan, capable of taking wing and flying, broke through the Human capital, Tianqi City. The brutal battle ended with the last Human emperor, Wan Wushang, slaughtering all three thousand members of the imperial clan before dying for his country. The Feather clan found Wan Wushang's body in a remote courtyard. Beside him lay a damaged star formation, beneath which flowed the star vein that had safeguarded the Human dynasty for a thousand years. No one could understand the formation, so the Feather clan ultimately decided to destroy both it and the star vein.
Afterward, the Feather clan united Jiuzhou, seized the title of Human Emperor, and made Qiuyue City its capital, founding the Yi Dynasty.
