Kaifeng is a city built atop itself, with six cities buried beneath it.
Legend says that when Qingming comes, all six cities beneath Kaifeng come alive.
Nine hundred years ago, the Jin army marched south, and the Northern Song fell.
Emperor Huizong could not accept it, so he sought advice from a venerable monk.
The monk told him a story: "At night, a gazelle hangs its horns on a tree to guard against danger. Its hooves never touch the ground, leaving no tracks behind."
If a tiger or leopard came searching, all it had to do was look up to see them.
Later, Emperor Huizong was captured by the Jin and died in the north.
But some say he never died. He took the people of the Northern Song and hid inside Along the River During the Qingming Festival.
All one had to do was look up to see them among the six cities that came alive.

A note from the author:
This is a sister story to the series "He's Really Gone Wild." The title is provisional.
Bad news: I accidentally deleted the outline permanently, so I may not start this project for a long time.
