Some people are, on the surface, top students at the University of Tokyo and the pride of their high school, but in reality, they're mixed up with the underworld.

Wagatsuma Shizuku only wanted to be a model wage slave, earn lots of money, and dote on her younger brother. Now she's facing a career crisis.

Her career had never gone smoothly. She quit her internship at the Akashi Group after enduring harassment from her boss. If life weren't so hard and the money so quick, she wouldn't have gotten mixed up with the underworld. Besides, her direct superior, Mr. Chuya, might be a bit long-winded, but at least he gave her bonuses on holidays.

But the cruel truth was that this unusually easygoing boss kicked her, after five years of working herself to the bone for the organization, over to the Bingsheng branch, which was on the verge of being shut down. It was basically a dismissal.

To save the branch from going under, she planned to seek mediation from the local power, the Fengji Group. But the night before, the company's president kidnapped her. Then, without wasting words, he tossed her a stack of money and told her to leave the underworld for good.

Her long journey through blind dates hadn't gone much better, either.

When they heard she'd be living with her younger brother after marriage, all her prospective matches ran off...
