I consider myself an RSER, but I've always liked writing SD. I tell people it's because I can't pass up the chance to make S the top for once, but really, I've fallen for that warm, cozy feeling. A friend had a birthday coming up and asked me to write her a birthday story. After talking it over, I decided to write an SD story for her: something cozy, suited to the mood of a birthday.
Look at the SD stories I've written before: Love You Forever is a sweet story, and Teacher, Don't Run! is a realistic one. What I want to tell now is an ordinary, almost clichéd story. And yet, only a story like this can be truly heartwarming.
