Uncle, I Was Wrong

Sui Yiyi has an uncle who's about nine and a half out of ten in the looks department, but so unrelated to her by blood that even half a point out of ten billion wouldn't apply.

Her uncle wants to control everything, but the one thing he can't be bothered to manage is her. Once she grew up, he started avoiding her whenever he saw her, and all he wanted was to be her dad.

Later, Sui Yiyi got a roommate who loved playing games with her.

One day, she logged into a game and was surprised to see her roommate online, inviting her to duo queue. She happily accepted. Then she turned on the team voice chat and talked from one game straight into the next, mixing in plenty of complaints about her uncle.

Then, in the second game, her "roommate" once again picked a hero they never played and turned down her request to invite a top player, saying bluntly, "Just sit back and let me carry you."

For the next few games, she turned off voice chat and stayed quiet as a mouse, not daring to make a sound.

Her uncle, who had been quiet the whole time, turned on his mic again. "Weren't you talking up a storm? Go on, then."

Sui Yiyi was so scared that her opponent killed her five times in a row.

That evening, her roommate came back. "That expert who helped you rank up earlier was amazing, right? I specially asked my boyfriend to get him to help you!"

Sui Yiyi, still reeling: What did I ever do to deserve this?!
