[This story features a marriage first, love later, and a secret crush.]
Blurb 1:
Lu Zai's first blind date was a meeting he had planned for a long time.
The girl he'd had a crush on for seven years sat across from him. He was nowhere near as composed as he appeared, and his hands trembled slightly beneath the table.
Who could have guessed that Tan Xinmian didn't recognize him as the unremarkable "fat kid" who'd sat behind her in class back then?
And when it came to the blind date, she rejected him ten times over: "Mr. Lu, I don't think we're right for each other."
Lu Zai lowered his eyes and said nothing. [But I intend to make you mine.]
Before the wedding, Tan Xinmian swore, "I'm not particularly interested in men. We're just joining forces to get through life."
After the wedding, though... some things seemed to slip out of her control.
What's it like to marry someone who's had a crush on you for seven years?
Tan Xinmian said, "I accidentally boarded a pirate ship. I really want to get off!"
"Get off? Mrs. Lu, there'll be a service fee on top of the ticket..." Lu Zai leaned in and blocked her lips. "Have you forgotten to pay it?"
Blurb 2:
On the eve of the IPO of GHOST, a fast-rising gaming company, Lu Zai was interviewed by a well-known Chinese financial magazine.
The reporter asked the young CEO a question: What's your dream?
Lu Zai's answer was just one word: her.
Years later, Tan Xinmian saw a fan post the exchange on a gaming forum and stormed into the bedroom to confront Lu Zai.
"Who's 'her'? If you don't explain right now, you're sleeping on the couch!"
Lu Zai put an arm around her. "Let me check... Oh, found it! Want to see?"
Tan Xinmian fought back her jealousy and leaned closer.
On the phone screen, the front-facing camera showed her and Lu Zai with their heads together and shoulders touching.
A helpless murmur came from beside her: "Who else could it be...?"
You're the one I fear losing, the one I can't forget, the one my heart yearns for.
Happy ending, one-on-one.
Warning: [The male lead is a scheming little bastard.]

Blurb:
The thing Song Xiaoxiao regretted most in her life was mistaking someone for somebody else while drunk and kissing him by force.
And of all people, it was Wen Jing, who'd lived with the Song family since childhood and whom she'd called "little brother" for over a decade. Faced with everyone's criticism and her family's pressure, Song Xiaoxiao gritted her teeth. Fine, she'd take responsibility.
Only much later did she learn that Wen Jing had been the one to initiate that kiss that got her blamed.
*
A gossip account leaked a secretly filmed video, claiming that a former member of the once-glorious boy band with the surname W was living in dire straits after leaving show business and had likely become a rich woman's kept man. Wen Jing was dragged onto the trending charts and flamed in no time.
Song Xiaoxiao, ever protective, logged into her long-dormant main account: [Fake. Fake. Fake.]
But fans followed the trail and uncovered that Mirror, once known in the industry as a big spender, was none other than the woman in the video herself!
Just as their rivals celebrated and onlookers gorged themselves on the gossip...
Yiwent Media's official account posted a statement on behalf of the CEO and tagged @Mirror: [Confirmed. Everything the boss's wife says is true.]
Attached were two photos of a bright red marriage certificate.
Gossip-hungry netizens: I'm so jealous! Wasn't this supposed to be a steamy story about a rich woman keeping a young wolf? How did it turn into one of those online-novel sweet romances where a secret crush comes true?
*
After her identity was exposed, Song Xiaoxiao was utterly mortified. She used to be Wen Jing's fan-site master, and she'd taken close-up photos of his lips and edited videos focusing on his waist. Now she was doomed. She'd never live down the label of the girl who forced a kiss on him.
"A secret crush coming true? Song Xiaoxiao, were you already coveting me back then?"
I didn't! I swear! What do I do? The whole world thinks I've got designs on Wen Jing!
[An idol who left show business to inherit the family business x a science communicator and part-time streamer who's devoted to research]
P.S. The woman is one month older than the man, and they aren't related by blood. He's had a crush on her, and as always, the man pursues the woman.
Theme: Love
Why are there so few comments?
I'm so in love with being able to do this.
I reread it again, and I really like Cancan, a good girl who is kind but not holy, and has three upright views. I really like Lu Zai. He can persist in liking someone for such a long time. When I think of him, I feel warm and powerful.
Finished spreading flowers, spreading flowers, waiting for the extra chapter?
When will the big Xiaoxiang open? I've been waiting, it's okay to wait until I have time to open again, as long as I don't abandon the trap.
When will you come back?
Hahahahahaha!
