[The leads flirt with each other, a sweet romance, happy ending]
Synopsis 1.
A young Mr. Wei suddenly arrived at Xingyu Entertainment. He was the heir apparent, a direct descendant of the family, and ridiculously arrogant.
On his first day as the new boss, he brought down the first of his three new-boss fires, and it "burned" the production where Liang Xirun worked. She suddenly found herself unemployed.
Luckily, she had a side job to keep her afloat. Who could have guessed she'd run into the very young Mr. Wei who'd cost her her job?
Was this supposed to keep her afloat? It was more like he was here to finish her off.
The young Mr. Wei, who looked down on everyone, made things difficult for her at every turn. "Could the production team be more rigorous when hiring? Stop caring about quantity and start looking at quality."
Liang Xirun, whose quality was apparently lacking: "..."
She could put up with it if she could. If not, then...
A few months later, the bit player had become a nobody. Someone saw the young Mr. Wei carry Liang, now a nobody, into the dressing room on set.
Liang Xirun kept backing away. "Don't try to sleep with me. It won't work out."
The young Mr. Wei closed in step by step. "Fine. Whatever my wife says goes."
Synopsis 2.
Luck was on Liang Xi's side, and she earned a nomination for the Palme d'Or for Best Supporting Actress.
At the awards ceremony, a whole bunch of toadies rushed over to the young Mr. Wei and showered him with praise.
The young Mr. Wei wasn't impressed. He crossed his legs with an air of authority and said, "She's only nominated for Best Supporting Actress. She still has to call me Daddy."
As soon as he finished speaking, the award announcement rang out. The young Mr. Wei looked even happier than Liang Xi herself as she went up to accept her award.
After the celebration, he sped home. The moment he walked in, Liang Xi looked at him, impatient with the one who'd been waiting for her. "Who said that? It's only a Best Supporting Actress award..."
"Daddy, you're the real Daddy."
She'd call him that on her knees, if she had to.
