On How to Save All Living Beings

"For the sake of the realm, you must die." Listen. The people are roaring... In Kyoto, where the winds of change howled that year, she disguised herself as a man, determined to overturn the board and upend the realm. She would set everything right again. If she didn't like the rules others had made, she'd overturn them and make her own! Or perhaps it was that year beneath the peach tree, when a child in tattered clothes looked up at her and said, "Sugar is sweet." And so she willingly bent down to carve a path for them. P.S. Set in an imaginary history. Plot-focused, with little romance. Theme: A tale of seizing power, as she transmigrates into an imaginary dynasty and climbs step by step to the highest ranks.
