Name: City of Dusk
Author: Bamboo Banquet Youngster

Synopsis

The second novel in the Star Hunters series: Thirty years ago, a mysterious virus ravaged Mengchuan, the "Dead City." Besides countless deaths, it also spawned a deformed new breed: people with supernatural abilities. Fifteen years ago, a vaccine was developed, and the "Dead City" saw the light of day again. But the reopened city and its residents became awkward reminders of the past. The Special Supervision Bureau was established to monitor people with supernatural abilities. Wei Chu, once an ambitious inspector, was suppressed by his superior, Zhou Xu, amid factional infighting, and fell into a slump. Two years later, Zhou Xu, then riding high, was rumored to have defected. He was gravely injured while evading capture and fell into a prolonged coma. At the same time, Wei Chu discovered that the gravely wounded, near-death Zhou Xu had used his unique ability, "Parasitism," to inhabit him. The two had no choice but to work together in this form of "symbiosis" to solve a series of difficult crimes involving supernatural abilities. But as the investigation deepened, Wei Chu discovered that Zhou Xu's identity was shrouded in mystery... A storm was brewing, and dark clouds gathered over Mengchuan. Will you choose to stand beneath the blazing sun, or in the darkness? I'll stand at dusk, where light and darkness coexist. All names, places, and settings are fictional. Please don't take them too seriously. The protagonists of the first book in the series, Star Hunters, will appear as important supporting characters in this story. Theme:

It feels a bit unfinished, and I don't understand why no one reads this good article. After reading Star Hunters, I was looking forward to this article. However, I felt that it was written as an ordinary criminal investigation article. I still prefer the setting of Star Hunters. Which platform will the author work on in the future? I might want to follow your novels again.

Ending and spreading flowers ~ This is really a good article but no one understands it. If I hadn't been caught by Star Hunter, I wouldn't have come to see this. Why is it so low in the collection? This article is as interesting as Star Hunter, each with its own merits. It can be said that the first Mengchuan is an isolated island, and this one, Superpowers, is an isolated island. Every time I think Chen Wenbo and Qing Qing are so sweet, a sweet couple. Lu Bai and Wu Cuo, why are you still friends? Forget it! Every time, it will be sweet for Zhong Su and her middle-aged husband. Madam, I want to know where you go to write the article. TAT, I want to read it.

Here I go again! Congratulations on the ending, looking forward to the sequel! ! If possible, look forward to the physical version! ! ! The ending is a little rushed, so I can revise it again when I have free time. Come on! I will never get tired of watching the sweet love between Wei Chu and Zhou Xu, Zhong Yuncong and Su Xian hahahahaha! The birth of each group has its own reason and significance for existence, and complete human eradication is indeed unrealistic. The attitude of most ordinary people towards people with superpowers in this article is really chilling. I hope that time will gradually make this kind of prejudice and generalization disappear, and one day people with superpowers can coexist harmoniously with ordinary people! There is also this kind of prejudice and discrimination against people who are different in real life, but I can see that society is becoming more tolerant of them, and the abuse, insults and malicious jokes are also decreasing, which is really very happy. Although it is impossible to have a truly just, non-discriminatory and prejudice-free world, at least it is developing in a good direction. Thank you very much for bringing us such a good story. In places we don't know, their lives are still going on, and they will get better and better!
