Starting Today, I'm Shennong

New novel, Back Home to Start a Farm. Please add it to your favorites; you can find it by visiting my author page. Blurb: After waking from a "nightmare," Tao Ran discovers that he has been bound to the Shennong System, and begins a completely different life. What do you do with the Shennong System? Of course, you farm! After Tao Ran returns to his hometown, the vegetables he grows are tender and delicious, the fruit is sweet and refreshing, and even the giant radishes grown by the villagers become exceptionally tasty. Countless people drool as they wave their wallets, eager to step through the gates of Taoyuan Village. Once quiet and impoverished, Taoyuan Village becomes famous far and wide, transforming into a true modern-day Peach Blossom Spring. 1. I'm no good at writing blurbs, so feel free to take a look at the free chapters first. 2. An alternate modern setting, with the plot as the main focus and romance as a supporting element. 3. An overpowered golden finger, and a relaxed farming story. Back Home to Start a Farm After unexpectedly obtaining a grass seed that can nourish the environment, Qu Chi thinks of his hometown, which has grown increasingly desolate over the past few years. He simply quits his job, returns home, and starts a farm, settling into a leisurely rural life. He grows grass, trees, and crops; raises chickens, ducks, fish, and shrimp; and, when he has nothing else to do, pets the rabbits, cooks delicious food, and feeds the handsome neighbor next door. A few years later, Qu Chi gives an interview and sees himself appear on a familiar TV program. "Wealth is everywhere, and action makes dreams come true. Welcome to today's episode of The Road to Riches." One day, the man who comes by every day to mooch food and drink suddenly says, "I think the rabbit you raised is the one that ran away from my house." Qu Chi: "You didn't show up when I was looking everywhere for the rabbit's owner. Now you're saying the rabbit is yours." What a shameless attempt to claim it! "Or you could belong to me, and the rabbit could belong to you too." "...All right." Fine, I'll let you get away with that. Theme:
