New story, Marrying the Old Lord of the Marquis Household, now open for advance reservations
The dynasty is prosperous, and scholars are held in high esteem. The powerful families will only choose successful imperial exam candidates as sons-in-law. With more demand than supply, even a chancellor's daughter has trouble finding a husband.
Chancellor Lu Guan worried himself gray over the marriages of his three daughters. After finally managing to snatch up two successful candidates as sons-in-law, he couldn't find a suitable match for his youngest daughter!
Heaven sent a perfect match, and the powerful families fought over him. The wily Chancellor Lu reaped the reward and landed himself a successful candidate for a son-in-law, free of charge.
Lu Shiyi, the chancellor's third daughter, was utterly bewildered. "But I don't want to marry a scholar!"
The successful candidate who'd been caught up in the marriage trap adapted to his new identity quickly. Delighted inside but perfectly proper and refined on the outside, he said, "My respects, my lady!"
In short, this is a story about a chancellor's daughter catching a husband from the ranks of successful exam candidates. It is set in an alternate Song Dynasty.

Wang Qiongzi, daughter of a Hanlin scholar, was raised by her widowed mother, Yu Shi. Yu Shi devoted herself to teaching her daughter, who became a celebrated young lady of good breeding far and wide.
When Qiongzi came of marriageable age, suitors crowded the Wang family's doorstep. Among them, Ji Xian, the nephew of the Vice Minister of War, showed the greatest sincerity. His family was distinguished, and his prospects were boundless.
Wang Qiongzi took a liking to Ji Xian. But only after the two exchanged tokens of affection did she realize she had transmigrated into a story about an overpowered male lead. Ji Xian was the secret identity of the story's villainous, tyrannical emperor: a debauched, extravagant, and shameless man, the very picture of a lawless tyrant, who eventually brought about his own death. The male lead, a general of humble origins, would rebel and become emperor.
After sixteen years since transmigrating, she suddenly discovered that she was not the female lead and might well be cannon fodder.
To escape the tyrant, Wang Qiongzi began acting outrageous and throwing tantrums. Whatever the tyrant liked, she made a point of despising.
Tyrant: Though I don't like studying, Qiongzi insists I study, but I know she only wants what's best for me. What should I do? I like her even more now! Wang Qiongzi: QAQ
Tyrant, looking confident: I am the majestic ruler of a great nation. I must use proper means to win Miss Wang over, so I can show off my own charm.

Blurb: Yang Mo's family was poor, and when she was young, she was sold to the household of the Gaochang Princess to work as a dancer and singer.
At fifteen, she had a face like a hibiscus and a waist like a willow, with captivating beauty.
The Gaochang Princess saw her as a valuable commodity and planned to send her to the palace as a palace attendant.
On the eve of entering the palace, Yang Mo had a dream. She dreamed she entered the palace, won the emperor's favor, and gave birth to his eldest son. But before she could enjoy her wealth and glory, the Empress Dowager took her son away, then gave her a cup of poisoned wine, sending her to her death.
To escape the tragic fate in her dream, Yang Mo set her sights on Xiao Yu, the Marquis of Pingyang, who was staying temporarily at the princess's residence...
Xiao Yu was the emperor's cousin and had always despised women, especially dancers and singers who used their beauty to serve men. Seeing Yang Mo barge in like a seductive fox, Xiao Yu didn't want to keep this trouble around and planned to throw her out.
Yang Mo sobbed and begged, doing everything she could to move the cold-faced God of War. "I am willing to serve you, my lord. Please take me in."
Xiao Yu suddenly developed an excruciating headache and couldn't speak. The more desperately Yang Mo pleaded, the worse his headache became. In the end, he had no choice but to nod and let her stay.
Only later did Xiao Yu realize what kind of trouble he had taken in. He couldn't be too strict or too lenient with her. She was so delicate that he came to treasure her like a precious gem.
Note: 1. Golden finger: The male lead can never refuse the female lead's requests, or he'll suffer retribution. The retribution comes in all sorts of bizarre forms.

Finished the chase in two days! This article kind of gives me the feeling of a forgotten pearl - why haven't I discovered it before? The plot setting and everything are great, and I feel like I have actually read a lot of books. The wording and sentence making are not superb, but there are no grammatical errors and it is very clean; the images of the protagonists and supporting characters have also been established; and unlike the current "popular articles" in Jinjiang, it is very quiet, soothing and comfortable to read. However, I feel that the description of details should be strengthened. The overall article is a bit vague, just like a translation of a classical Chinese text. It really just explains things clearly... But it still has flaws. It is a great article~ (I don't regret buying the whole book at all, it's worth it!)
Don't talk about the emperor's death in Sheji. Didn't Ming Yingzong commit suicide when he was captured? Only the devil believed that he had more backbone than the two emperors of Huiqin in front of the Mongols. Instead of launching a coup to seize the throne and become emperor again after welcoming him back, Emperor Jingtai of Beijing who defended Beijing was scolded as a cowardly and incompetent rebellious minister.
The girl is so tall. She hates the stubborn idea of favoring boys over girls. The author has a very positive outlook on things, so the main character in the article also has a positive outlook on things. It's very enjoyable to read!
I like it very much. I get a headache when I see some of the strings.
The king dies in the country. People like him are actually dead when they are captured. What is pitiful are those children and innocent civilians. They never enjoyed glory when the country was stable, but their lives were the lowest when the country was in turmoil.
I feel that this is the emperor's way of checking and balancing. It is not serious enough to get rid of Song Huai, but if he doesn't show his loyalty now, it may be too late later.
I re-watched it a few years later and thought it was quite good.
How wonderful it is to have only one precious daughter!
Why can't I watch the last chapter?
I don't care about the sky, I don't care about the earth, and I don't care about the air in the middle. I just want to bury you!
