They marry first and fall in love later, in a sweet romance about pregnancy, childbirth, and hunting little demons.]

Hu Mengmeng is a chubby girl with an ordinary face. After the goddess she confessed to rejects her for being ugly, she breaks down crying, and her mother suddenly tells her something shocking.

Mom: Daughter, your other mother is a fox spirit. After you turn eighteen, you won't be able to hide your fox-spirit bloodline anymore.

Hu Mengmeng: Are you kidding me?!

Mom: Over the next year, you'll keep getting prettier.

Hu Mengmeng: Yeah, right.

Hu Mengmeng doesn't believe her, but as time passes, something incredible happens: she really is getting prettier. Before long, she's got snowy skin, long legs, and the face of a peerless beauty...

She also gains memories of some strange arcane arts and a fox-spirit talent: bewitchment!

The first time her bewitchment skill activates, she accidentally sleeps with a demon hunter.

Hu Mengmeng runs away in fright, but not long afterward, the cold, aloof senior corners her in the classroom.

Senior: You little fox spirit, you got me pregnant and now you want to run without taking responsibility?!
