When alien species descend, parasitized humans turn into all kinds of monsters, divided into predators and prey, while ordinary humans who have not been parasitized struggle to survive.

When Ling Jinmian, a biology professor at S University, leaves the lab, she finds herself surrounded by predators, drawn there by some unknown lure.

“Heh heh, food... delicious food...”

The predators have lost their minds. They stick out their tongues, bare their mouths full of fangs, and drool foul-smelling saliva as they close in on Ling Jinmian.

Ling Jinmian's scalp prickles with fear. As she struggles to save herself, she spots a familiar face.

It's the famous model student at S University, praised by all the professors as a top scholar, and an ordinary human who has lost her sense of taste and remains unparasitized.

In the blink of an eye, Wen Xi, the genius girl rumored to be an antisocial loner, has smashed a predator's head with a baseball bat and rushed over to her.

Ling Jinmian thinks she and Wen Xi can support each other and survive in this world of monsters.

But she never expects that when she wakes in the middle of the night, something dark, damp, and writhing is wrapped around her. She hears the sound of someone swallowing saliva right by her ear, and something wet, cold, and soft licks her cheeks and neck.

“...Mmm, you smell so good... so good...”

“I want to eat you so badly...”

“No, if I eat you, you'll be gone. I'll just lick you, just once...”

The muffled voice by her ear leaves Ling Jinmian stunned with fear. She looks up and sees the “ordinary person” who has saved her from predators so many times. Her eyes are greedy, and her beautiful face bears an intense yearning Ling Jinmian has never seen before. At the same time, her body undergoes a bizarre transformation: several slick tentacles covered in tiny suckers emerge from her back and coil around Ling Jinmian. They tighten around her ankles and waist, while a long, scarlet tongue drips saliva as it licks her!

Only then does Ling Jinmian realize that she has merely escaped the mouths of a pack of lesser predators, only to end up in the jaws of a single greater predator.
