Mighty Orange Cat

They say nine out of ten orange cats are fat, and the tenth, uh...

Liang Xian glanced at the orange cat sitting upright on the windowsill and thought of the pitiful sight of it rummaging through trash cans back when he first found it. He said against his conscience,

"Your Highness, you've gotten thinner again."

The orange cat was pleased. It clumsily hopped down from the windowsill and walked away, swishing its tail.

"All right, you four can put your claws away." Liang Xian looked out the window.

The four sleek, jet-black cats sheathed their menacing claws. Some licked their paws, while others basked in the sun, as if they hadn't just bared their hooked claws to threaten someone.

Liang Xian was exhausted. How had he ended up adopting a streetwise cat with its own bodyguards?

He couldn't hit it or scold it, and he couldn't even tell it the truth?

What Liang Xian didn't know was that his Orange Majesty's bodyguards weren't just those four. They were...

the whole city.

Xiao Yuanling x Liang Xian. His Highness is the top~
