[Demon Slayer] Early Summer

Their mother was named Xia, their father Dong. They met one Little Heat and walked side by side toward the future.

The first summer, their father became a ghost, but their mother resolutely embraced her husband.

The second summer, Changxia, their eldest son, was born. His father gave him his mother's name, hoping he could live as a human.

Every summer, so many things happen...

Their parents met in summer, and came together in summer, too.

Changxia and Lixia were born in summer, and it was also in summer that they

became "ghosts" like their father.

But their mother used her blood to bring back their human reason.

"I'm sorry, I couldn't give you a good birth."

"But my children, you have the power to decide your own future."

"Think carefully about your words and actions, and hold fast to your beliefs."

"Whether we are ghosts or humans, we must stand tall and proud!"

So the elder brother chose to be human, while the younger brother chose to be a ghost. Each went in search of their own path as human and ghost.

*

"We are both human and ghost."

"But I (we) am (are) still me (us)."

"Ghosts are transformed from humans, and the further they stray from humanity, the stronger they become."

"Humans, because they are human, grow strong as humans."

P.S. This story is extremely slow-paced and stream-of-consciousness. Best to save up chapters.
