(Pili) Magic Mirror, Magic Mirror

The Mirror Immortal ritual: Legend says that if you wear a red dress at midnight, light a candle in front of a mirror, and peel an apple while looking into the mirror without breaking the peel, you can see what your future other half looks like. But what on earth is that thing in her mirror?!

Yu Cixin gripped the nearly peeled apple and glared darkly at the horned, seductive creature in the mirror. "Go back where you came from!"

The seductive creature in the mirror smiled at Yu Cixin. "I'm afraid not. You summoned me."

Yu Cixin's face darkened. She tossed the apple onto the table. "I don't need it anymore."

The creature's smile didn't change. "I'm afraid you have to. You must peel the apple." As it spoke, two apples appeared in its hands from nowhere, one in each. Smiling, it asked, "Which would you like, the golden apple or the silver apple?"

Yu Cixin: "Get lost!!"
