Dyeing You

[One-line summary]:

In our previous lives, love was forbidden and impossible to confess; love and hate carved themselves into our bones, consuming our hearts and blood. Reborn to live again, I live for you.

[Overwrought blurb]: Yun Ran spent the first sixteen years of her life raising and teaching Yun Qing, and came to love her through respect.

When her true identity was exposed one day, they became enemies, standing on opposite sides of good and evil. Love turned to hate, and she was consumed by grief and obsession.

Love and duty have never been easy to reconcile...

Yun Qing made one choice after another, and in the end willingly gave up everything for her beloved disciple. She died smiling in Yun Ran's arms, asking her to cherish herself from then on.

After waking from a dream to find herself back on the eve of their bond breaking when she was sixteen, Yun Ran prayed that Yun Qing would ask nothing more of her. Whatever their relationship might be called, all she wanted was to grow old together with her.

They say water and fire cannot coexist...

If you are fire, I will throw myself into your flames.

If you are water, I will be buried in your heart.

Your sorrow is my concern, and your joy is my delight.

A short story about a master and her disciple. The main story may be what people call angst first, sweetness later.

I really love this song. It's faintly sorrowful.

How could anyone know whether the "nothing to do with romance" they speak of is just an excuse for a love that cannot be fulfilled?

Theme: Reborn, they confess their feelings to each other
